Musikmesse is the scene for the presentation of various awards: For example the prize-winning instruments in the German Music Instrument Prize awarded by the German Ministry of Economy and Labour and presented at Musikmesse – is based here. Along with this prize, spring will see the award of a whole series of further prizes in the sector for selected products, on the occasion of the Musikmesse International Press Awards and the Reader’s Prize awarded by three trade journals, Tastenwelt, Soundcheck and Keys.
A good deal of public interest is directed to the Frankfurt Music Prize, to be presented on the evening before Musikmesse, in the awarding of a public figure as Pianist of the Year (German Piano Industry Association) and in the Honorary Music Prize, awarded by the Association of German Musical Societies (Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Musikverbände e.V.). |
